We are 20 seats away from selling our our first-ever caregiver conference on May 9 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Syracuse. Families from all over Central New York have made plans to join us and this is your last chance to reserve your seat.
DEMENTIACARE2012 brings together experts in safety, home care, legal and financial planning, dementia treatment and diagnosis, and caregiving for a one-day workshop open to all dementia caregivers in the region. Speakers include:
- Patti Kerr (first photo at right), a certified Alzheimer’s disease educator and author of I Love You…Who Are You?: Loving and Caring for a Parent with Alzheimer’s.
- Dr. Scott Brehaut, M.D. (second photo at right), director of the stroke center at Faxton St. Luke’s Healthcare. He has a private family practice in New Hartford and holds a certificate in geriatrics.
