The second Walk To End Alzheimer’s Leadership Summit is in the books. Nearly 50 people joined us at the Comfort Inn & Suites Airport in North Syracuse for a day of learning and sharing.
Chapter staff and Walk volunteers presented programs on beginning and advanced fundraising, advocacy, volunteering, corporate sponsorships and team mentoring.
For years, walkers and team captains have been vocal about our online Walk registration/donation system. Comments always echoed the same point: “It’s not user friendly.”
These concerns were not exclusive to Central New York. Our sister chapters nationwide saw the same comments from their walkers. Together with our national Walk staff, we are happy to unveil our new online platform. Powered by Convio, the 2012 Walk websites are now live and ready for you to use. See the details after the jump!
